God's grace was put on display in a stunning way after humanity sinned against him. Instead of leaving us in our ruins, he sent his Son Jesus Christ to lead many people back to glory (Hebrews 2:10).

Jesus Christ is the most unique person in history. Why? He is both God and man (Colossians 1:15, 19; John 14:9). When we see Jesus we see God who we were designed to cherish and imitate. And when we see Jesus we see the perfect human we were designed to be like. God's design for salvation is supreme and stunning! It centers on seeing and adoring Jesus Christ whose grandeur and beauty silences the human heart. And while beholding the beauty of his person and work is bountiful enough, he calls us and empowers believers through the Holy Spirit, to participate in his glory by living like him! C.S. Lewis helps us to consider the importance of beholding Jesus and becoming like him:

"It is a serious thing to live in a society of possible gods and goddesses, to remember that the dullest most uninteresting person you talk to may one day be a creature which, if you saw now, you would be strongly tempted to worship, or else, a horror and a corruption such as you now meet, if at all, only in a nightmare. All day long we are, in some degree helping each other to one or the other of these destinations."

God made us for a grand purpose for which we have all failed. Now all people are moving toward one of two destinations. When we say "destinations" we are not just talking about a place--heaven or hell--we are talking about a state of being for time without end. Some people are being re-created into the image of God through Jesus Christ and when his work is completed we will be such glorious creatures that as Lewis said, if we saw now, some would be strongly (and we would add wrongly) tempted to worship. But others will become such horrors that our best frame of reference now is what we see in nightmares. The process is currently taking place in each of our lives! Some are becoming more glorious day by day while others are progressing in their decay--no one is staying the same.

We agree with Lewis that your salvation and transformation is serious business. Therefore, we want to help you step into the dawn of a new day by receiving life through Jesus Christ. We want to help you live in deep adoration of Jesus. And teach you how to be re-created into the divine image little by little, degree by degree, glory by glory.
