Where and when is the 2026 Equipping Conference taking place?
The EquipHer 2026 Women's conference is a one-day event scheduled for Saturday, February 21, at the The Goodman at the Village Towersin Houston. The EquipHer 2026 Teen conference will be on the evening of the same Saturday at the same location.
How can I book a hotel for the conference?
For those who want to make a weekend of it with friends, Hotel ZaZa is also in walking distance—a chic boutique hotel that’s perfect for a stylish getaway.
Will I receive a confirmation after registering?
Yes, you will receive a confirmation email upon completing your registration.
Do I need to bring a printed ticket to the conference?
No, need to print your ticket; we will check you in upon your arrival.
Is there a dress code for the conference?
We recommend dressing for personal comfort. Attendee attire typically ranges from smart casual to casual. Smart casual attire is neat, clean, and put-together, but slightly less formal than business casual. Many women also enjoy grabbing conference merch from our online store. You can select beautiful T-shirts and sweatshirts in a variety of colors and have them shipped directly to your home so that you can wear them to the conference. What dining options are available during the conference?
At EquipHer 2026, we aim to enhance your conference experience by providing ample opportunities to dine and connect with friends in the lively and refreshing setting of the Village Towers. To facilitate this, we have intentionally scheduled breaks that allow you to enjoy everything from quick bites at Bean and Bottle to meals at restaurants. At the conference, we will offer a snacks and beverages to keep you refreshed and energized.
Is there childcare available?
We regret that childcare services will not be provided. However, we encourage attendees to consider asking their husbands for a weekend to be refreshed and equipped, enabling them to pour into their children with renewed strength and inspiration!
What can I expect to find at the exhibit and merchandise booths during the conference?
Our exhibit and merchandise booths are thoughtfully assembled to equip you to make an impact for Christ. You’ll have the opportunity to explore a range of resources for women and teens, including books, study materials, and more. Meet and mingle with ministries ready to welcome your involvement, offering both local and global service opportunities. Additionally, you can connect with seminaries and educational institutions that offer to further equip those looking for more.

Keynote Speaker | Founding Director
Kori de Leon is an author, speaker, podcaster, and conference leader who holds a Master of Arts in Theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Her publications include Age of Crowns and the Upheld Bible Study, and she is a contributing author to Lifeway’s new Women’s Study Bible. Kori's work has been featured in various publications, including journal articles, blogs, and online platforms such as Proverbs 31 Ministries.

A book in which she describes the years-long journey she took as she wrestled with questions that struck at the core of the Christian faith and found the truth. Her new book is called Live Your Truth, and Other Lies: Exposing Popular Deceptions that make us Anxious, Exhausted, and Self Obsessed, in which she examines modern lies that are disguised as truth in today’s culture. She is a wife, mom, author, podcaster, blogger, and speaker. She was a member of the award-winning CCM recording group ZOEgirl. She is currently a respected speaker at apologetics and Christian worldview conferences, as well as the host of her popular YouTube channel. Alisa’s story was featured in the documentary, American Gospel: Christ Crucified. Bobby de Leon graduated from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters Degree in Biblical Counseling. He serves as the Family Pastor for Grace Bible Church in the Heights. Bobby is the Chairman of the Board for Adoring Christ Ministries. He has served on staff at Young Life Ministry, the Director of Discipleship and Soul Care at his previous church, and has worked within multi-ethnic urban churches. He lives in Houston with his wife Kori and daughter, Jade.

Leah Holder Green has been teaching God’s Word since she was 17 years old.
She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, Phi Beta Kappa, and later earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Texas School of Law. After practicing law for a few years, she entered full-time ministry as a Bible Study Curriculum Specialist and an itinerant Bible teacher and conference speaker. Leah has earned a Master of Arts in Christian Education degree from Dallas Theological
Seminary, and she currently serves as the Women’s Ministry Director at her church.
She is married to Clarence Green, and they have three beautiful daughters—Caylen
Joy, Lena Hope, and Carris Faith.

After growing up in the Church and in a life of personal lay ministry, Leah Kadwell lived in Hyderabad, India, for 20 years as a Christian professional, working in behind-the-scenes roles to build the ministry capacity of her Indian colleagues. Since returning to the United States from India in 2017, Leah has spent most of her time traveling, speaking, writing, and building relationships. Leah’s passion is listening to people and being a safe place for the burdened and hurting. Leah is a widely requested speaker and has spoken on faith-based topics to audiences on almost every continent. Leah is based in Minnesota and is married to Kevin. They have two adult children and a beautiful, charismatic German Shepherd, Fiona. In her free time, Leah enjoys sports, coffee, cooking, and reading.

Renee is the founder of Biblically Balanced Prayer Ministries, a nonprofit dedicated to helping believers cultivate a vibrant, Scripture-centered prayer life. Drawing from her background in both engineering and ministry, she offers a clear and practical approach to prayer that equips women to connect deeply with God and stand firm in faith through every season. She and her husband, Forrest, live in Houston and have two grown sons.

Dr. Lisa Stewart | Vice President of Discipleship, College of Biblical Studies
Dr. Lisa Stewart serves as Vice President of Discipleship and Professor at the College of Biblical Studies in Houston, where she equips students to integrate faith, learning, and leadership. With a Ph.D. in Education specializing in Leadership in Higher Education, she brings both academic depth and pastoral warmth to her teaching. As a pastor’s wife, author, and speaker, Dr. Stewart is passionate about encouraging women to grow in spiritual maturity and live out their faith with purpose. She and her husband, Patrick, live in Houston and have two adult children and four grandchildren.

Ranelle Woolrich is from Houston, TX and serves as the Women’s Discipleship Director of Grace Bible Church in the Heights. After working for K-Life Youth Ministries both at a local and national level, she spent time teaching in private education before going on staff at GBC nine years ago. Having been blessed by a number of women investing spiritually in her throughout her life, she is passionate about teaching God’s Word to women and equipping women as disciple-makers.
